Dr. Matthew Lee is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where he is a member of the Abdominal Imaging and Intervention section and serves as Director of Medical Student Research and Development.
He completed his medical degree, residency, and fellowship training at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, including a fellowship in Abdominal Imaging and Intervention.
His academic and research interests include abdominal imaging, CT-based imaging biomarkers, opportunistic screening, aging-related imaging assessment, and the optimization of radiology workflows. His recent research has explored the use of CT imaging biomarkers to assess biological aging and age-related disease, as well as the impact of workflow interruptions on radiologist efficiency, patient safety, and performance.
