Dr. Ignacio Martínez-Salamanca is an internationally renowned urologist, founder and Medical Director of Lyx Urología, Head of Urology at Hospital Virgen del Mar, Associate Head at Hospital Ruber Internacional, and Editor-in-Chief of Revista Internacional de Andrología.
He holds a doctorate in Medicine with an Extraordinary Doctorate Award from the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM), and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), the European Board of Urology (FEBU), and the European Board of Sexual Medicine (FEBSM). He completed his training in robotic surgery, oncology and sexual medicine at Cornell University (USA) and Università San Raffaele (Italy), and undertook management training at Harvard Medical School and IESE.
In teaching and institutional work, he holds ANECA accreditation as Profesor Titular, directs the Chair in Urological Health at Universidad Francisco de Vitoria, and is a prominent member of the Senior Guidelines Panel and teaching faculty of the European Association of Urology (EAU).
