Curriculum summary

I graduated in Medicine from the Universidad de Alcalá in 2013 and completed my specialist training in Diagnostic Radiology at Hospital Universitario Ramón y Cajal.

Since May 2018, I have been a specialist in Diagnostic Radiology at Hospital Universitario Ramón y Cajal. Since 2020, I have been part of the Cardiothoracic Radiology Section, and since then I have expanded my training in this field by completing a master’s degree in cardiac CT and taking part in numerous courses delivered by prestigious institutions.

My clinical work includes implementing innovative techniques such as cardiac strain assessment using MRI, and the use of spectral CT and perfusion in coronary angiography.

I am also part of the national Cassandra lung cancer screening project, which applies artificial intelligence systems to detect lung cancer.

I currently participate in several multidisciplinary clinical committees with the Cardiology and Respiratory Medicine departments, among others. We are also a reference centre for training in cardiothoracic imaging, receiving numerous national and international visiting trainees each year.
