Prof Taylor is Professor of Medical Imaging at University College, London and an honorary consultant Radiologist at University College London Hospitals. As founder member and current National lead of the UK National Institute of Health Research (NIHR) Imaging Group, he spearheads multi-disciplinary Imaging Science Research within the NIHR. He chairs multiple high impact European consensus guideline committees and sits on the editorial board of the highest impact radiology journal, Radiology. He is editor in chief of the British Journal of Radiology. He is current vice president of the European Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology (ESGAR) and immediate past chair of the ESGAR Research Committee. Prof Stuart Taylor is a leading UK academic radiologist, with an international reputation for Gastrointestinal Imaging research, notably in CT colonography and imaging of Crohn’s Disease. He has over 390 peer review articles and attracted >£6M in competitive, non-commercial grant income as chief investigator
